Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Westbridge & Cole LLP (“the firm,” “we,” or “us”) handles information collected through this website. It does not govern information you provide after becoming a client — that is covered by your engagement agreement and the rules of professional conduct, which impose stricter duties than this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you submit: if you use the consultation request form or email the firm, we receive the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and a description of your situation.
Information collected automatically: this is a static website. It does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics unless one is added and disclosed here. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to operate and secure the service.
How We Use Information
We use information you submit to evaluate your inquiry, respond to you, check for conflicts of interest, and — if you retain the firm — provide legal services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may disclose information where required by law or court order, to service providers who process it on our behalf (such as the form-handling service that receives consultation requests), or as necessary to protect the rights and safety of the firm and others.
Consultation Inquiries and Confidentiality
We treat consultation inquiries as confidential and handle them under the professional-responsibility rules that apply to prospective clients. Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please note that email and web forms are not perfectly secure channels; do not send highly sensitive material until we have established a secure means of exchange with you.
Data Retention
We retain inquiry information as long as needed to respond, run conflict checks, and meet our professional and legal obligations, and then delete or archive it in accordance with the firm's retention practices.
Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us at the address below to ask what information we hold about you, request correction or deletion (subject to our legal and ethical retention duties), or ask that we stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Matters involving minors' content are handled through a parent or guardian.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version; material changes will be posted on this page.
